Free medical camp held

KOKRAJHAR, February 1: A medical civic action programme was organized by the 16th Bn.SSB at village Koraibari under AOR of Border Outpost Tukrabasti on Sunday. Koraibari is situated near the IBB where a large population is domited by the Adivasi people and villagers are extremely poor and lack basic facilities. The SSB extended its welfare action by giving the villagers medicines and treatment free of cost. In the medical civic action programme, a total of 204 patients (92 male and 84 female) of nearby villages were treated by the medical team of the 16th Bn.SSB, Ranighuli, Kokrajhar under the supervision of Dr. Kuldeep Singh Sekhawat. Various cultural programmes including Santhali dance and songs were displayed by the Adivasi girls of Koraibari village.
