Free medical, dental and eye check-up camp held

Dibrugarh, Feb 19: As part of Operation Sadbhava, a free medical, dental and eye check-up camp was conducted by Dibrugarh Army Camp of Laipuli Brigade in association with 302 Field Hospital under the aegis of Dao Division at Bhadoi village in Dibrugarh district on Sunday.

The camp was iugurated by the gaon burah of Bhadoi village.  Apart from doctors, eye specialists and dentists from Indian Army, doctors and specialists of Assam Medical College and Hospital, Dibrugarh contributed their free services in the camp for the benefit of the local populace.  A total of 1,201 patients, which included 373 cases of eye care, 87 cases of dental care and 741 cases of general patients, were provided with medical care. Free medicines and health advice were also provided to the patients.
