lbari, Feb 6: ba Prabhat, a local NGO of Barama, distributed free text books among poor students of class ix and x of different high schools in greater Barama area in a meeting held at Barama recently. A large number of school students belonging to the families of rickshaw pullers, handcart pullers, daily wage earners and cultivators received free text books in the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Bharat Chandra Talukdar, president of the NGO. Addressing the meeting Ratul Pathak, ADC of Baksa district said that the effort to distribute free text books among poor students is an excellent act of the NGO.
