Freedom fighter Bisheswar Gogoi passes away

GAURISAGAR,Dec 24: Bisheswar Gogoi, noted freedom fighter, educationist and a resident of Deoraja Manta village was passed away on Wednesday at his residence due to old age ailments. He was 99. Gogoi got superannuation as a Headmaster of Hatimuria L.P.School, Amguri in 1983. He was actively associated with various organizations and took active part in establishment of educatiol institutions. As a life member of Indian tiol Congress, he took part in Indian freedom movement. Assam Pradesh Congress Committee President and Amguri MLA Anjan Dutta and various organizations of the locality have condoled the death Gogoi.
