Freedom fighter passes away

SIVASAGAR, April 11:  Noted freedom fighter and social activist Radhath Saikia passed away on April 9 after prolonged old-age ailment at his residence at Banmukh Chutia Gaon in Sivasagar. He was 97. His mortal remains were consigned to flames on Friday. He is survived by five sons and two daughters.
