Fung voted Hilton Asian Tour Golfer of 2016

Singapore, Feb 7: Malaysias Nicholas Fung has been voted as the Hilton Asian Tour Golfer of Year by fans in an online poll, it was announced on Tuesday.

"Solely on popular votes cast, Fung emerged as the fans' favourite after a stellar 2016 season which saw him enjoy four top-10s and finishing in a career-high of 12th place on the Asian Tour Order of Merit," a release read. The Malaysian also showed great composure by battling tooth and il to deliver two half points for Team Asia at the EurAsia Cup presented by DRB-HICOM on home soil in January 2016. IANS
