Ganja Seized at Guwahati Railway Station

GUWAHATI: Train checking staff of Guwahati GRP apprehended one Roke Mondal alias Palash Kr Mandal, age 18 yrs at 8:30 in the morning on Thursday. He is said to be the son of Haradhan Mandal of Dhanirampur, P. S. Jalange, Murshidabad (W/B). 12 kg of suspected Ganja has been seized from his possession at Railway Platform No 4 at Guwahati Railway Station. He boarded the 15960 Down Kamrup Express Train Coach No. A/1 at Dimapur and was supposed to deliver the seized ganja at Khakra, Murshidabad, WB. A case (332/2018 u/s 20(b) N. D. P. S. Act) is registered as he is being investigated further.
