GUWAHATI, Jan 9: gaon lift both men and women title in the hockey event of the State Games held in Silchar today. In the men’s section, gaon defeated Sivasagar while in the women event they came better against Dibrugarh. Meanwhile Sivasagar will face zira in the fil of the women netball which will be held tomorrow. zira, Guwahati, Sivasagar and Tinsukia earned a berth in the semi fil in men’s section.
Fil result of different events: Kabaddi (men)-Dhubri bt Silchar via tie break (1-1, 10-5). Basket Ball (women)-Jorhat bt Sivasagar.Hockey (men)-gaon bt Sivasagar. Hockey (Women)-gaon bt Dibrugarh.
