GUWAHATI, March 13:  gaon defeated Silchar by 9 wickets in the semi fil league match of the Nuruddin Senior Inter District Cricket tourment match held at the Barsapara ground here today. Chasing 53 runs to win gaon reached the target losing a single wicket. Earlier gaon, who started from their overnight score of 156-4 today were bowled out 191 in their first innings.  Silchar once again failed to put big total in the score board and the entire side were bowled out 112 in the second innings.

Meanwhile in the other match, held at the NFRSA stadium, Maligaon, Dibrugarh finished the second day 138-7. Earlier Guwahati bowled out 192 in their first innings.
