SARUPATHAR, July 9: A general meeting was organized by Red Cross Society at Dhansiri subdivision. It was held at the Axam Xahitya Xabha Bhavan at Sarupathar. President Parsu Tamuli, chief guest Dighanta Bazbaruah, who is the secretary of All Assam Red Cross Society, Bipul Das, Subdivisional Officer (SDO)(C) of Dhansiri subdivision, Raju Phukan, general secretary of AASU and other dignitaries were present. General secretary of Red Cross Society of Dhansiri subdivision, Dilip Konwar forwarded all the previous accounts and surrendered from his post to form a new committee of Red Cross Society at Dhansiri subdivision. Angsa Jildoy Shyam High School students were present in the meeting and they paid their deep obeisance to martyr Kushal Konwar on his 75th death anniversary.
