Ginni’s Genies Worked Wonders

Actor cum comedian Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath recently tied the knot in Punjab. Kapil's bride Ginni got her wedding trousseau designed by Padmavati designers, Rimple, and Harpreet Narula. The designer duo created something that Ginni exactly wanted they have explained it on the Instagram how they went about it. It seems that the bride wanted a classic red lehenga for her main wedding ceremony and they recreated the Mathura Ghats in a full 360-degree view on her lehenga. It was her main wedding look. “After a number of private consultations at our atelier, we zeroed in on a stunning antique hand-painted Pichhwai that would be the inspiration behind her lehenga's artwork. The textile depicted a stunning riverside view of the Mathura Ghats which was meticulously translated on to each panel of the lehenga...to achieve a 360-degree view of the riverfront as it was in the past.”

Further, the designers took inspiration from the Mughal paintings for the lehenga intended for reception party in Amritsar. The pasta green lehenga is an outfit that every bride would like to earmark and keep. She teamed it with a maang tikka, Pasha and heavy pieces.
