Girl falls into drain at Nilbagan, hospitalised

JAMUMUKH, March 12: An eight-year-old girl was seriously injured falling into an open drain at Nilbagan here on Wednesday evening.  Local said the girl suddenly fell into the open drain when she was walking on the footpath along with her mother. "We were coming from a pharmacy after buying some medicines. But we never thought that such an incident would take place," said the mother of the girl. The girl, who has been identified as, Manjila Begum, daughter of Rustum Ali, has been admitted to a local hospital. Locals have blamed the administration for the incident. "This is not the first incident. Earlier  also several people were injured falling into the open drain here," said a local.
