Girl student drown

GUWAHATI, June 11: A Cotton College girl student drowned in the Brahmaputra while taking photograph in the Umanda island today. The girl, Archa Timungpi, went to temple island with her hostel mate Anga Goswami. The incident happened when they were about to return. Rescue operation by River police and NDRF  divers is underway.
