Goala reviews progress of road construction

SILCHAR, Jan 2:  Mani Lal Goala, parliamentary secretary of PWD, recently held an urgent meeting with Rajdeep Goala, MLA of Lakhipur, to review the condition of all the bridges and roads of his constituency. At the review meeting were present Anrul Laskar, superintendent engineer, Rafique Ahmed, SDO of PWD, Shyamal Das and Moloy Deb from tiol highway with junior engineers and contractors.

  It was stressed by Mani Lal Goala and Rajdeep Goala that all the gaon panchayat level bridges and culverts as well as roads should be completed. And new ones have to be started. By January end, PMGSY roads have also to be completed, if unfinished. At this review meeting were present R K Sahal Singha, member Manipuri Development Council, Pradip Kumar Dey, ZPC member, and Rabindra Singha, ward commissioner. Both the MLAs sought the cooperation of people for the completion of the construction of roads and bridges along with culverts.
