Gogoi launches CM's Cup

GUWAHATI, Jan 28: Assam has got a new soccer tourment and this time it is CM’s Cup. The idea behind to organize this tourment, which will kick off on February 2, is to tap talented footballers in the grass root level of the state. Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi today launched the tourment in a glittering function which was held at the Rudra Singha Sports complex. Ajit Singh, Sports Minister, also attend the function as a guest of honour. The tourment will first be held in Sub division Level which will be followed by cluster level and Zol level. From quarter fils on wards it will be held in state level. Cash prizes will be awarded to the players from the cluster level of the meet.
