Golaghat district administration launches Swachh Sarvekshan Grameen, 2018 on 25th July.

Golaghat, July 25: Golaghat district administration on Tuesday launched the Swachh Sarvekshan Grameen, 2018, a rural cleanliness programme under the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation which will rank all districts of the country on the basis of sanitation (Swacchata) parameters. The ranking will be based on parameters such as data from Swachh Bharat Mission-Gramin IMIS, district-level surveys of public places like schools, Anganwadis, PHCs, haat bazaars, panchayat and citizen’s perception of swachhata. Top-ranking States and districts will be awarded on October 2, 2018. The survey will be carried out from August 1-August 30. The meeting on the occasion was chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner Dhiraj Das.
