Governor allocates departments to advisors

ITAGAR, Jan 30: Governor Jyoti Prashad Rajkhowa on Friday allocated departments to his advisors G S Patik and Y S Dadwal, under the Business of the Government of Aruchal Pradesh (Allocation) Rules, 1998, with immediate effect and until further orders.

Both the advisors were appointed by the Centre to assist the governor in his functioning after imposition of President rule in the state on January 26 last.

Patik would be addressed as Advisor Fince, Planning & Development (FPD) and would look after Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Veteriry, Cooperation, Education, Environment and Forests, Fince, Fisheries, Health & Family Welfare, WRD, Planning, Programme Implementation Monitoring, Evaluation, Economics & Statistics, Power & Non-Conventiol Energy Resources, Public Health Engineering and Water Supply, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, RWD, Social Welfare, Women & Child Development, Department of Science and Technology, Trade and Commerce and Urban Development, Municipal Administration and Government Estates.

Dadwal, who would be addressed as Advisor, Home, Political etc. (H&P) would look after District Administration, Election, Home & Inter-State Border Affairs, Parliamentary Affairs, Political (excluding Vigilance), PWD, Disaster Magement, Transport & Civil Aviation, Youth Affairs and Sports, General Administration, Department of Development of Tirap and Changlang, Secretariat Administration, Excise and rcotics, Culture Affairs, Mines, Labour & Employment, Land Magement and Information Technology & Science & Technology, a Raj Bhawan communiqué informed.

Files would be put up to the advisors accordingly, as per usual procedure.

In respect of the departments like Horticulture, Information, Public Relations and Printing, Law, Legislation & Justice, Personnel, Administrative Reforms and Training, Vigilance, Textiles, Tourism and any other department not allocated to the advisors, the files may be put up to the Governor by the concerned Secretaries, Commissioner, Principal Secretary, Chief Secretary directly, as per usual procedure, until further orders, the communiqué added.
