Governor Jagdish Mukhi, CM Sarbananda Sonowal Mourn Death of Xatradhikar Kamal Chandra Goswami

Guwahati: Assam Governor Prof. Jagdish Mukhi mourned the death of veteran educationist Kamal Chandra Goswami, who died on Tuesday.

In a statement, Prof. Mukhi said, “Eminent educationist and Xatradhikar of Aadi Alengi Xatra Kamal Chandra Goswami’s death is a huge loss to the state”. Though he departed for his heavenly abode, late Goswami will continue to be a source of inspiration for hordes of his followers and people in general, the Governor added.

He expressed his condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed to the Almighty for eternal peace of the departed soul.

Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Media Adviser to CM Hrishikesh Goswami and State BJP president Ranjit Kumar Dass also condoled the death. Sonowal said that the Xatradhikar had played a strong role in bringing about spiritual consciousness in the State. His demise is also loss in the field of education.
