Governor visits educational institutions and hospital

Silchar, April 19: Assam Governor Prof Jagdish Mukhi on Thursday visited various schools, colleges and S M Dev Civil Hospital of Silchar. He visited the prestigious Cachar College and then Government Boys’ Higher Secondary School. Facility of running water in the toilets of the school is lacking and thus he asked the Deputy Commissioner of Cachar to do the needful. Prof Jagdish Mukhi interacted with the teachers, managing committee, students of the educational institutions. He inquired about the infrastructure, development, issues, concerns and problems of the schools, colleges and the Hospital. He assured that he would discuss the matter with the Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal and Education and Health Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma.
