GPC felicitates freedom fighter

GOLAGHAT (Dhekial), Jan 25: A delegation of Golaghat Press Club (GPC) felicitated prominent turalist, freedom fighter, Sahityik Pensioner and former forest officer Jiban Das at his residence on Tuesday. The general secretary of the GPC, Diganta Kumar Bhuyan said that Das was born in the year of 1920. At present he is 98 years old. He had made huge contribution to the society. The members of the GPC felicitated him with a floral Assamese gamusa. In the programme, chief adviser Dwipen Dutta, adviser Upen Dutta, Apurba Kumar Baruah, coorditor Prabin Kr. Das and Riki Dey took part.
