Green India Revolution Project under way

JOYSAGAR, Feb 18:  Green India Revolution Project, 2016-17 is going on in Sivasagar district in full swing.  The District Agriculture Department, in association with Krishak Nyas, katani, Gaurisagar under Sivasagar district, has introduced a modern technique for more productive rice farming. The State Agriculture Department has introduced a new high breed and more productive seed VNR-2355 and with this seed, local farmers have already started their farming in 10-hectare land near Kawoimari village under Kawoimari Gaon Panchayat and this exhibition farming has begun to catch the interest of other farmers of the district.
