GSU decries pathetic condition of hospital

Itagar, March 30: The Galo Students Union has expressed deep concerns over the pathetic condition of general hospital at Aalo in West Siang district, which was upgraded from district hospital in August last. GSU Spokesperson, Marli Kamki in a statement informed that they had expected various changes and improvement in the hospital infrastructure after the up-gradation, but all had been belied “The condition of the Hospital has gone from bad to worse,” said Kamki “There is acute shortage of specialist doctors in the hospital. A gynecologist has to be posted in the hospital immediately since the hospital has been running without one for many months,” he added The union has further appealed the Health Minister, Rajesh Tacho and all the legislators of West Siang district to take cognizance of the impending crisis and do the needful at the earliest.
