Gunfight breaks out between Security Forces and suspected Militants in Nagaland

Guwahati/Kohima: A massive gunfight broke out between a team of dual Para Special Forces of the Army and a suspected combined team of ULFA-I and NSCN(K) cadres at a place between Wangla and Wating village in Mon District of Nagaland today evening.

As per reports, at least three suspected militants have been suspected to be killed during the operation.

Reportedly, around 10-12 members of militant group equipped with heavy weapons took shelter in the border areas.

So far two bodies have been recovered during the operation. The security forces also recovered some weapons from their possession.
