Gunotsav round II on November 27 in Silchar

Silchar: The Skills Evaluation of Gunotsav of Round II will be held on November 27. The said Skills Evaluation was supposed to be held on October 11. But, due to the leakage of question paper, the same was deferred by the Mission Director of SSA. In a fresh order issued by SSA, it has been stated that the Skills Test of the left out schools in 16 districts of the state of Assam will be held on November 27. The District SSA officials were asked to take necessary steps for this purpose. In this regard, the Additional District Commissioner cum Mission Director of SSA Cachar has also issued necessary notification. In the said notification, it was stated that Gunotsav in the remaining 723 number of Schools, both elementary and secondary of Cachar which was earlier scheduled on October 11, 2018 has been postponed along with 16 districts of Assam. It was further stated that any person either from SMC/SMDC or persons associated with any political activity of Panchayat Election should not be involved in the process of Gunotsav.

In the view of this notification, External Evaluators who were earlier assigned duties on October 11 in LP, ME and High Schools (Class V to VIII) will now have to visit those schools on November 27 and perform the task of evaluation. No separate appointment letters will be issued to the External Evaluators for this purpose.
