Gutkha seized

Rangia, April 27: Acting on a tip off, Mirza and Vijaynagar police of Kamrup district seized cigarette and gutkha including cash of Rs 20 lakhs from the house of one Mani Talukder of  Mirza under Kamrup district. According to the police, the monetary value of the seized item is more than 1.2 crores. Police arrested Mani Talukder and Aidur Rahman in this connection. The Agartala bound full loaded truck bearing no. As 01 EC 9476 was hijacked from Guwahati by some miscreants. But from secret information, police seized the vehicle. Interrogation is on for further information.
