GUWAHATI, April 5: Guwahati took three points by virtue of first innings lead against gaon in the drawn quarter fil league match at Barsapara stadium here on Thursday in the Nuruddin Senior Inter District Cricket championship.

Resuming at 262 for one on fil day, the hosts declared their first innings at 432 in 77.2 overs losing 5 wickets. Overnight batsman Rishav Das scored brilliant 161 in 173 balls with 23 fours and a six while Avijit Singha Roy added 121 in 141 balls with 10 fours and 5 sixes. Riyan Parag contributed rapid 55 in the later part of the innings.

After trailing 283 runs in first innings gaon could mage 298 in 56 overs losing 7 wickets at close of the match. Bitop Mahanta (67) and Arpan Kashyap (58no) hit half centuries. Amjad Ali and Debajit Baruah made 33 and 30 respectively. Chakya Sarma grabbed 3 wickets for 81 runs while Gokul Sharma and Riyan Parag took 2 wickets each.
