North Guwahati, March 9: Passengers are facing problems due to the alleged negligence of the Inland-Water Transport department. Problems arose on Monday after a ferry carrying several passengers stopped functioning in the middle of the Brahmaputra river. The ferry was on its way from Rajdowarghat to Guwahati. Even though another ferry came to the rescue of the people soon, the passengers faced a lot of inconvenience.
