Guwahati in driver seat

GUWAHATI, Dec 29: Guwahati are in the driver seat against Udalguri in the RG Baruah U-16 Inter District Cricket championship which got under way at Mangaldoi today. Elected to bat, Guwahati were bowled out for 237 runs in their first innings. Monikar Sarma (74 no) and  Sayan Dey (57) scored half century. Udalguri are struggling in the first innings and lost six wickets on way to score 54 runs at stumps on day I.

Meanwhile at Goalpara, Silchar were bowled out paltry 53 in their 1st innings. Later host Goalpara scored 110-6 in their first innings at sumps on first day.
