Guwahati take huge lead in Nurrudin final

GUWAHATI, April 26: Hot favourite Guwahati took 510 runs lead in the first innings against Bongaigaon of the final of Nurrudin Ahmed Trophy Senior Inter District Cricket Tournament at ACA Stadium, Barsapara. After restricting the opponent at 108 yesterday, Guwahati scored 618 in 98.1 overs on second day of the four-day tie.
Romario Sharma struck brilliant 159 in 140 balls with 11 fours and 10 sixes. Riyan Parag (71 off 107 balls), Rishav Das (60 off 64balls), Pritam Debnath (57 off 53 balls), Tarjinder Singh (42 off 85 balls) were the other contributors. Guwahati got 120 runs as penalty for slow over rate by Bongaigaon. Pacer Sunil Ranjan Gogoi claimed  4 wickets for 157.
