GUWAHATI, May 17: Guwahati, Tinsukia and Jorhat won their respective matches in the Umananda Bora Memorial U-13 Inter District Cricket Tournament here today.

At ACA Stadium Guwahati thrashed Mangaldai by 7 wickets. Winning the toss batting first Mangaldai were bundled out for 71 in 20 overs which was successfully chased by the hosts in 13. 1 overs losing 3 wickets. Rangajyoti Khargharia claimed 3 wickets for Guwahati.

At NFRSA Stadium Tinsukia beat Kaliabor by 158 runs while Jorhat outplayed Barpeta by 33 runs.

In first match, Tinsukia scored 208 in allotted 20 overs losing 5 wickets. Keshab Deep struck unbeaten 58 off just 20 balls with 8 fours and 3 sixes. Bibek Sharma and Prachurjya Sonowal contributed 46 and 28 respectively. Himanshu Saikia took 2 wickets for 44. Kaliabor could manage only 50 in 13.2 overs in reply. Aayush Jaiswal (3/1) and Shreyansh Agarwal (3/20) were pick of the bowlers for Tinsukia.

In the second match at Maligaon, Jorhat managed 147 in 20 overs losing 6 wickets after winning the toss with the help of Amir Ullah Khonikor’s 57 off 45 balls. In reply Barpeta were bowled out for 114 in 18.4 overs. Kabir Hasan Deshmuk added 45. Amir Ullah grabbed 3 wickets for 13.
