Guwahati XI, CCA Noonmati Win U-19 Nazidul Islam Cricket Tournament

GUWAHATI, July 15: Guwahati XI and CCA Noonmati won their respective matches in the U-19 Nazidul Islam Cricket Tournament held at the Latasil ground here today. In the first match Guwahati XI defeated United Boys club by 8 wickets while in the second match of the day CCA Noonmati won against Assam Rhinos by 27 runs.

Brief scores: '1st match (reduced to 10 overs for overnight rain): United Boys 63 (10 Overs), Cheeku Roy 22, Himjyoti Sarmah 2/09, Guwahati XI 64/2 (8.4 Overs),Shivam Mittal 32.

2nd match: CCA Noonmati 123/7 (15 Overs), Nabanil Sharma 56, Shahid Ali 3/18, Nanda Das 2/17, Assam Rhinos 96 (15 Overs), Ashish Bharati 19, Vedant Pandey 3/22, L Kiran Singha 2/13, Ravi Raj Singh 2/09.
