Hagrama holds crucial party meet

KALAIGAON, November 13: BTC Chief Hagrama Mahilary today held a crucial meeting with BPF workers in Kabirali here. The meeting assumed significance ahead of Assembly polls. During the meeting, Mahilary exchanged views with the party workers in the area and appealed them to ensure victory of party in the Assembly elections. He also asked party workers to inform the public irrespective of cast and creed, about various initiatives being taken by his council for the development of BTAD. He also announced that the party will nomite 16 candidates in upcoming Assembly Election. According to Mahilary, the BPF is likely to nomite Maheswar Baro as a candidate from No. 65 Kalaigaon Legislative Assembly in 2016 polls and other 15 candidate’s me will announce shortly. Around 3000 party workers took part in this meeting which was presided over by MLA Rihan Daimary. Meanwhile, BTC Speaker Tridip Daimary, MLA Rakheswar Brahma also took part in the crucial meeting.
