Hailakandi administration gears up to observe Rashtriya Ekta Divas

 Hailakandi, Oct 29: Along with the rest of the State, the Rashtriya Ekta Divas (tiol Unity Day) and ‘Run for Unity’ synchronizing with the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel will be observed in a befitting manner across Hailakandi district on October 31. The Hailakandi district administration has chalked out a host of programmes to commemorate the day, stated a press release. Floral tribute will be paid at the portrait of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel at Deputy Commissioner’s office campus at 7.30 am followed by ‘Run for Unity’ which will traverse through all major thoroughfares of the town.  Deputy Commissioner Moloy Bora will administer the pledge to the officials and employees in the office campus at 11 am.
