Hailakandi DC effects major shake-up in administration

Hailakandi. April 7: Following arrest and absconding of officers of different ICDS projects in Hailakandi district, the district administration has effected a major shake- up.

 In an order issued by Deputy Commissioner Adil Khan on Saturday, Additiol Deputy Commissioner Ruth Lienthang has been put in charge of District Social Welfare Office in place of Ashraf Hussain Laskar under arrest. Circle Officer, Lala, Madhumita th has been given the charge of CDPO, ICDS project Lala, while Assistant Commissioner, Rebecca L. Changsan as CDPO, ICDS project Algapur. Besides District Social Welfare Office, both the ICDS projects at Lala and Algapur were held by Laskar. 

 James Aind, Circle Officer, Katlicherra, has been given the charge of CDPO, South Hailakandi ICDS project in place of Kak Deka who is absconding.  Tridip Roy, Circle Officer, Hailakandi has been entrusted with the charge of CDPO, ICDS project Hailakandi replacing BK Bora who retired and is now absconding without handing over charge. Assistant Commissioner Parikshit Phukan has been put in charge of CDPO, ICDS project Katlicherra in Bora's place.

 The order comes into force with immediate effect.
