Hailakandi gears up for smooth conduct of HSLC, AHM, HS exams

Hailakandi, Feb 13: The Hailakandi district administration has taken a slew of measures for ensuring hassle-free and smooth conduct of the ensuing High School Leaving Certificate, Assam High Madrassa and Higher Secondary (Fil) examitions 2018. At a review meeting held at the Deputy Commissioner’s conference room, District Development Commissioner (DDC), FR Laskar directed the school inspectors, supervising officers, principals and teachers to follow the guidelines laid down for smooth conduct of the examitions.

Laskar said that the administration will come down heavily on those resorting to unfair means inside the examition centres and will not spare even the invigilators caught on the wrong foot. He asked the police administration to provide adequate security in the sensitive centres to prevent any untoward incident and to ensure smooth conduct of the examitions. “The police personnel will report at 8 am at the examition centres to instil confidence among the examinees and to keep a close eye on anti-social elements,” he said.

The DDC asked all concerned to ensure that no examinee can bring mobile handsets and other electronic devices to the examition centres. “Frisking will be carried out by the armed police personnel,” he added. This was stated in a press release.
