Hailstorm lashes Ladoigarh

SORI, May 7: At least 100 houses were damaged by thunderstorm along with massive hailstorm which hit Ladaigarh area under mtola Police Station in Sivasagar district last night at around 10.30 pm. Sources said the resident of Ladaigarh rendered homeless and had to spend sleepless night under the open sky. A few temples, church, mghars and , schools and light post were also damaged due to the storm. Several valuable trees were also uprooted. Around 400 bighas of tea garden were affected by the hailstorm.
