Haj pilgrims felicitated

Dhekiajuli, July 10: Under the aegis of Dhekiajuli Jame Masjid Committee, a felicitation programme was organized in Dhekiajuli for the Haj pilgrims of this year. A meeting was held under the presidentship of Abdul Gaffur in which several prominent personalities of Dhekiajuli town attended. They included Dr Rosan Ali Ahmed, Dr M M Rahman, young social worker Dr Toiyab Hussain Barbhuyan, Amir Husain, the vice-president of Dhekiajuli Town Masjid Committee, and Abdul Malik Kasimi. All the dignitaries expressed their views and suggestions to the Haj pilgrims. A community prayer was also held for world peace. This year nine people will be leaving from Haj pilgrimage from Dhekiajuli.
