Handicrafts exhibition in Dibrugarh drawing crowds

DIBRUGARH, MAY 12: The week-long handicraft exhibition held here under the aegis of District Industry and Business Centre at District Library Auditorium from May 7 will conclude on May 17. First, second and, third prizes besides five consolation prizes will be awarded to participating stalls on the basis of their merit. The Deputy Commissioner, MS Manivann while iugurating the exhibition, in his speech, expressed his appreciation for the products that had been exhibited and had emphasized maintaining the quality of the products. The iugural meeting was attended, amongst others, by the head of District Industry and Business Centre, Rajen Lagasu, Lead Bank Officer, Mukul Kachari, President, Eastern Assam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bhudev Phukan and Associate Professor of DHSK commerce college, Roma Kanta Gogoi and secretary of North East Women Entrepreneurs, Renu Phukan. Speakers in their respective speech offered various suggestions and advice to participants for improvement of their products.
