Handicrafts exhibition kicks off at Biswath Chariali

Biswath Chariali, May 17: State Industry and Commerce Department has organized an eight-day long handicraft exhibition in Biswath Chariali. It was iugurated on Sunday by SDO (C) Biswath, Pallav Gopal Jha, in Dharamsala near Pavoi Road in the subdivisol head quarter, stated a press release.

On behalf of the department, the office of the Assistant Director of Industry and Commerce, Biswath Chariali has made all arrangements for the exhibition to cover Gohpur subdivision too along with Biswath.

From Monday the exhibition will be open for the public daily from 10 am to 7 pm till May 24.  Around 30 groups of artisans from Biswath and Gohpur subdivision of Sonitpur district are participating in the exhibition-cum-sale.
