Hardcore NDFB (S) cadre bbed

MANGALDAI, November 8:  In a major success for men in olive green under the umbrella of Red Horn Division, the Army bbed one hardcore NDFB(S) cadre of Platoon 2IC of Udalguri Platoon following the continuous intelligence inputs being received about the activities of Bengal Davrao alias Sansuma alias Susrwn, a Myanmar-trained cadre of NDFB(S).

Bengal Davrao is a listed cadre of NDFB (S) and was out of district for the last few months. Davrao is one of the most dreaded mes in the Udalguri platoon of NDFB (S) and is wanted in many firing and extortion cases under Bhergaon police station. Acting on reliable intelligence about the presence of a NDFB (S) cadre in village Shimaluguri in Udalguri, a team from Army Camp Borrangajuli under Army Camp Chapai along with police representatives under SDPO Bhergaon launched a joint operation and apprehended Bengal Davrao and seized one 7.65mm pistol with two live rounds from his possession.
