Headmistress dies in road mishap

MANGALDAI, Jan 16: Geeta Hira (56), headmistress of Uttar Mangaldai High School at Chapai, and a resident of Anda gar, Mangaldai was killed when the Mahindra Verito bearing registration no. AS01 BP 891 in which she was travelling  hit a roadside tree after hitting a motor cycle ( AS13 E 2972) in the opposite direction near Deomornoi under Mangaldai PS at around 3-30 pm on Saturday. Bhogiram Boro (57), rider of the motor cycle reportedly also sustained serious injury along with two others who were also injured in the mishap.
