Health camp organized at Bokajan Gaon

TINSUKIA, March 3: A week-long special camp organized by the tiol Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Tinsukia College concluded at Bokajan Gaon under Langkashi Panchayat recently. Bokajan Goan was adopted by the college under Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojo of the Government of India. A team of 28 student volunteers under the guidance of Surjya Chutia, the programme officer, and Rat Gopal Gogoi, president NSS unit, undertook repair of roads, cleanliness and health activities and plantation in the area. Based on the survey, the NSS unit has decided to organize need-based developmental programmes in the future. Among others who participated in the programme were faculties of the college, Ajit Ch Phukan, Bhadreswar Choudhury, Rajib Konwar, Nilim Jyoti Sepoti and Tankeswar Das.
