Health check-up camp held

MANGALDAI, October 9: Reiterating their commitments towards the countrymen living in the remote and rural areas of the district, the Army Unit stationed at Chapai in Darrang district organised a day-long medical and health check-up camp at Sojuli village today.

The Gaon Burha of Sojuli village iugurated the camp in presence of a large number of villagers.

In its endeavour to reach out to locals in far flung areas, the Army is continuing its medical support in coordition with Health Department of Assam government in BTAD Areas.  

The medical camp provided the much needed health services to the people & services of medical specialists and free medicines were provided for the villagers.  

Around 350 people from the area were benefited with this camp and they expressed their heartfelt gratitude and satisfaction over the heath facilities provided in the camp.

The humanitarian drive by the Army Camp at Chapai under the aegis of Red Horn Division was widely appreciated by one and all.
