Health officials urged to attend duty on time

Rangia, June 9: Kamrup Deputy Commissioner Vinod Seshan has appealed to doctors, GNMs, ANMs and all other medical and paramedical staff posted in various hospitals, primary health centres, subsidiary health centres to attend their duties in time on all working days.

In the meantime, Deputy Commissioner Seshan has asked the Circle Officers to inspect the hospitals on all working days and ensure regular and timely attendance of doctors and nurses. He also asked the Circle officers to see that the patient gets proper care and facilities.  ADC Hemashree Hazarika has been given the charge to coordite the whole process to facilitate the patients.

The Kamrup DC further expressed disappointment on the decreasing institutiol delivery reports of 2015-16 in the district compared to performance of 2014-15. He stated that strict punitive action would be taken on those who do not maintain punctuality and sincerity in government health institutions.

Salary of all staff of Bamunigaon Model Hospital and Rampur BPHC has been withheld for last two months due to negligence in duty.
