Silchar, Sept 9: Health related problems cause a lot of troubles. Non availability of delivery rooms and facilities add up to the woes of expecting mothers. However, the residents of Binkandie can heave a sigh of relief. Tilka out garden health sub centre under Lakhipur PHE had no delivery facilities till the second week of August. Now delivery cases are being treated with utmost care. Till now, 3 cases have already been successful. People had earlier requested MLA Rajdeep Goala, SDMO Dr Y Kishore Singh and BPM Sanjukta Das for taking necessary action in this regard. The sub centre is run by health officer Monika Devi and assisted by ANMs and ASHA workers. Women residing in nearby areas like Pbda, idol, Roghthal, Tilka Khasis Punjee, Bhuvan Ber, Lakhipur Tea, Alicherra and Swastipally will be immensely benefitted from now on.
