Heavy vehicles flouting rules in Pathsala town

PATHSALA, Feb 21: Pathsala Police has put up signboards at every entry gate of Pathsala town area prohibiting entry of heavy vehicles carrying goods to the town area from 8 am to 8 pm. But it has been noticed that heavy vehicles enter the town area 24 hours without any obstacle which causes frequent traffic jam creating inconvenience for common people and official goers of the town.

Himanshu Sarma, secretary of AASU Pathsala, said, “In Pathsala town it has been noticed that goods carrier heavy vehicles are entering the town area at any time by breaking rules which causes inconvenience for the common masses. The authorities have put up notices in every entry gate where it is written that heavy vehicles cannot enter Pathsala town from 8 am to 8 pm. We have already complained to the administration but till today no any positive result has come. We again appeal to the authorities concerned to look into the matter.”
