Hectic preparation on for R-Day

Gossaigaon, Jan 23: Along with hectic preparation for the upcoming Republic Day celebration, the sub-divisiol administration of Gossaigaon in Kokrajahar district has beefed up security measures in the wake of the boycott call issued by several extremist groups.  Intelligence sources said that they had received information that some extremist groups were poised to create trouble during the Republic Day celebration. Apart from cleansing the main roads of the subdivision for the 64th Republic Day of India, the administration has already put up decorative lights in front of the parade field in Gossaigaon.
