DIPHU, September 9: Full swing preparations are on for the 27th biennial conference of All Assam METeachers’ Association (AAMETA) scheduled to be held from September 11 to September 13 at Bakaliaghat Higher Secondary School in Karbi Anglong.
On the first day of the conference delegates me will be registered, delegates camp will be iugurated and a souvenir will be released. The delegates session will be iugurated by Tuliram Ronghang, CEM of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC).
On the second day, AAMETA’s flag will be unfurled by Krish Kanta Talukdar, president of AAMETA, followed by shradhanjali and a cultural procession will also be taken out on the occasion.
Basab Chandra Kalita, president of Sadou Assam Karmachary Parishad, will attend as chief guest and Samujjal Kumar Bhattacharya, chief advisor of AASU, will attend as appointed speaker. State Education Minister Sarat Chandra Barkatoky and Sanjib Kr.Bhuyan, Director, Primary Education Assam will attend as special guests. On the last day, delegates sitting will be held followed by a semir.
