Help desk iugurated at KHADC

SHILLONG, Oct 9: PN Syiem, CEM of KHADC today iugurated the Help Desk at the entrance to the main office building with an aim to ease the problems faced by the general public. Addressing on the occasion Syiem said, “We hope that with the opening of this new Help Desk it will make things easier for the people so that the District Council can serve the people in a much faster and easier way.” He said that there have been many instances where the work should be completed within a day or two however people had to waste their money on traveling expenses especially those staying in villages since it took longer for their work to get done. “Due to this very reason we have decided to open this special Help Desk and more importantly this will aid a lot of people who are looking for NOC, Trading License, Professiol Tax Certificate beside others,” Syiem said.
