Heroin, banned medicine seized in Katlicherra

Hailakandi, October 6: On a secret tip off, a team headed by Superintendent of Excise, Hailakandi M Amarendra th raided a location near Gharmura in Katlicherra on Wednesday evening and seized a huge cache of heroin and banned medicine, stated a press release. Around 12 grams of heroin, 520 Nitrazepam tablets, 1,190 Alphrazol tablets and 1,500 other such tablets were seized. The accused, however, maged to flee from the scene. Deputy Commissioner Moloy Bora complimented th and his team for the good work leading to seizure of heroin and other substances. Bora said the administration would leave no stone unturned to bust such illegal operatives and also against bogus pharmaceutical firms operating in the district.
